History

Built with the toil of volunteer labour from our founding members, the Nightcliff Sports Club has undergone significant change and development over the past 35 years.

Rebuilt following Cyclone Tracy, the entire club house was knocked down and rebuilt in 1989. Finally significant extensions were made in 1999 resulting in the wonderful facility we have today.

From an original membership of 59, the Nightcliff Sports Club now boasts over 2000 members and 8 affiliated clubs. These range from football, bowls, cricket, hockey and netball to darts & evergreens.
